What a very interesting place Ali. Seems like quite a bit of what you describe for the uses may have gone one over a great deal of time. Beautiful capture of what appear to be carvings.

Amazing that these have stood the test of thousands of years! It must be amazing to be there and try to capture it all with your camera. You've done a good job, it makes me want to see for myself!
