A football field sized stone-tiled square with statues and surrounded by recently renovated austro-hungarian style fabulous buildings. All that glowing warmth in a surprisingly bright November sun. It was changed to a pedestrian area just recently i.e a few years ago - definately a wise move by the city heads. On the corner with Karasz Street there is a coffe-cookie shop - better caffe latte than you can get anywhere in Belgrade and an excellent choice of different cookies and cakes (chocklate, peanuts, hazelnuts, poppy, creams, jam).
