I have made a conscious effort to explore the polar regions in the last half decade. With ice loss so dramatically documented, particularly in the Arctic, I wanted to have a chance to see these regions before they were changed forever.
In 2008, I spent a week exploring the coasts of Baffin Island and Southern Greenland and in 2011 visited coastal Norway and Svalbard. I hope to be able to add Iceland in the not too distant future.
