The first one of these we found was at Bellavista. It was the only day of the trip I left the camera at the lodge, and it was about 8 feet from us posing nicely for a photo we couldn't take. This one in the photo above we found at Tandayapa, but it did not come nearly as close. The lesson with the first one was of course, not to get lazy and leave the big lens at the lodge, especially in habitat where birds like this can come right in.
