Although marsh wrens are certainly not the type of wren we see most commonly in the areas where we typically spend our time, the day we visited Alamosa NWR this species was the one bird most commonly seen and heard anywhere near water on the refuge. The camera caught this one blinking, which made for a "grumpy" looking wren indeed.
