Without a tripod with us, it took a bit of creativity to capture an image of this stream at a slow enough shutter speed to blur the falling water without overly blurring the vegetation and rocks in the frame with it. In the end, the solution was to brace the camera against a solid object like a tree trunk and clamp it tightly against it with my hands while very caferully tripping the shutter while holding my breath.
