This tropical fruit we picked up at a roadside stand has a slimy white flesh with lots of large black seeds, similar to watermelon seeds. I ate some, but only because it was a new experience. Melanie actually really liked the stuff. The flavor is difficult to describe. It was sweet and fruity, but it was the texture that I found most off-putting... kinda like slurping down that sludge that collects in the bottom of your automobile's oil-pan.
