There seems to be some confusion on the identity of this and similar moths.
There are two (spread) images on MPG that other similar images seem to be based on, an unusually marked E.castaneana by Eric LaGasa and an E.terracoctana from Jerry Powell.
I am placing this as E.terracoctana based on the Powell photo for the following reasons:
The palps show a very small white tip (most visible on left) forward of a larger black area, forward of the white base.
The AM line PM line match this photo well, especially so the PM line.
The subterminal area seems a better match including the dashes that are missing from the LaGasa photo.
