Cho Oyu, Tibet 2005

In spring 2005, I tried to Climb Cho Oyu, the sixth highest mountain in the world, solo and without oxygene.
Unfortunately the weather was that year extremely unstable and climbing the summit was only for a few lucky ones. I had to turn back after 3 nights in a snowstorm in camp 2 at 7200m. Nobody climbed later that season to the summit due to heavy snowfall.

nice photos Johann. I'd heard conditions were pretty tough. Where did you get to on the mountain? You've done a good job to get them uploaded so soon too! can I ask how your A95 performed battery wise? Planning on a 6 week trip to climb a just under 7000m peak next year and am trying to work out what's best to take and I have the A95
