Pre Tarmac - my early days how it all began

Pre Tarmac - my early days growing up - how it all began, how an aero-modeler is made (or used to be) - learning to make and fly and crash aircraft and repair them with my brother James in Nunawading Victoria Australia 1950's & 1960's. We even tried to make a man lifting box kite - but the 350kg breaking strain rope broke and our creation ended up on our neighbors roof - wee were grounded for awhile after that
