While I can't really say I have a favourite bird, I can say,
quite frankly, that the Sturnus vulgaris is my "unfavourite"!
One hundred of these birds, brought to North America in the 1890's
and released in Central Park, New York, have become two hundred
million today. This one, unfortunately, has taken over the nest
of a Northern Flicker.
