Mike, thanks for these great photos! Due to fading I converted them from color
snapshots into black and white and I think that the results look great.
I recognize Art Fromm and Tom Egelhoff. Behind Tom is John Eifler.
I noticed Art's name on the "lost classmates" list and I am sad about that. I just
cannot believe that he could be lost. We played in band together. One summer his
Dad invited us over to their farm. They lived just outside the center of Thiensville.
If I recall correctly they had a mink farm nearby the house. I have a foggy memory
that the family had a dog food business and find it hard to believe that nobody knows
his whereabouts. We played in band together. At the Fromm home we recorded music along
with a some older gentlemen. Art's Dad had a reel-to-reel recorder set up in a large room
that acted like a studio. It is possible the other people in the band were part of
a club like Lion's Club or the Rotary. We played older music, the kind you might hear at
a park pavillion during summer. There may have been some old German folk tunes as well.
I don't remember details. They also had a collection of old and unusual brass instruments
which we also played around with. It was a good time. Art Looks good in this graduation photo.
I remember him being tall, but here he looks like a giant. Hope we can track him down!
