David and John Small meet Bob King at the dedication of the Neal Welcome Center, Nicholas County Historical Society on the evening
of September 26, 2008. Bob is from Corona del Mar, California and has been researching the Hayden surname for over a decade. He has
followed the ancestory to John and Priscilla Alden who where among the original Pilgrams that came to this county on the Mayflower.
Bob is decended from Lot Crawford Hayden, father Lottimore Hayden and mother Mary Bryan. Lot C. is Lottimore's only son.
David and John, both originally from Nicholas County, are decended from Lot's sister, Lydia Hayden.
