Spring rains bring floods along the Ohio River.
The river is just beyond the railroad tracks. The flooded underpass seen
in the center is actually a spur off KY 8, near Augusta, KY.

On the far side of the tracks is accessible marsh that is generally populated with
birds, particularly from migrations at this time of year. This was one of our a planned
photo destinations!
