Cantacuzino Palace - The House with Lions - George Enescu Museum

Palace built for "The Nawab" Prince George Grigore Cantacuzino high level politician and landlord
Princess Maruca (Tescanu Rosetti) inherited the Palace from her deceased husband Prince Mihai Cantacuzino, high level politician, who died in a car accident, the son of the Nawab
both Princess Maruca Cantacuzino and Enescu were friends of the Royal Family, especially of Queen Marie of Romania
(Princess Maruca Cantacuzino had two children: one was the famous World War II pilot "Bīzu" Prince Constantin Cantacuzino and a daughter Princess Alice Cantacuzino, sportswoman, war corespondent and writer. Princess Alice Cantacuzino an excellent horse rider was often the riding partner of Queen Marie of Romania, a most astute rider
all family assets were confiscated by communist regime, Cantacuzino family living in exile after an adventurous escape to freedom)

Architecture and design of the front facade nicely framed. The kings of jungle are well protected by the canopy, wouldn't get sunburnt or damaged by the snowstorm. ~VVVV~
