Daybreak over the Eau Gallie Causeway, Brevard County, Florida.

The Eau Gallie Causeway spans the Indian River Lagoon and is the primary connector between the city of Melbourne and the beaches. This photo was taken at the Eau Gallie pier which sits next to the library. Back in the late 19th/early 20th century, trains would deliver goods and passengers to a dockyard located at this site, from which barges and ferries then traveled south along the Intra-coastal waterway.
