I'm thinking Torrey Pines.
I think I know that sand.

I was drawn to this image because it really does look like a tree imprinted on th sand...very well captured

This is a magnificent image, Jenene -- a tracing of life left in the shifting sands. It is incongruous, a plant seemingly growing where no plant can root. It is compelling, almost hypnotic, in textures and coloration. The shadow closing in on it from the left is almost touching the tracing, but not quite, creating tension, and symbolizing the coming ending of both the day and the life of this illusion. The only flaw in this masterful image is the distracting stuff in the bottom right hand corner. Clone it out with photoshop.
