C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) in Andromeda. Taken near Edgewood and Caņada Rd in San Mateo County, CA. on
March 28, 2013 at 8:27 PM PDT with a Pentax K-5 and an SMC Pentax-M 135mm F3.5 lens. This is an
average of 8 exposures of 1.6 seconds at f3.5 and an ISO of 1600. I saw it with binoculars but was
not able to see it unaided. The comet appears to be fading. The bright star at left center is Delta
And., and the brighter star above the comet is Pi And. Slight crop and downsized from the original
image and processed with Photoshop CS5.
