BD+40 4124 (V 1685 Cyg), at the center, is the brightest member of young emission line stars in
Cygnus, including V 1318 Cygni and V 1686 Cygni (the two red stars just to the lower left of center).
This small association is located about 1 degree from the open cluster NGC 6910. Taken over several
nights from Aug 15 to Aug 24, 2012. Imaged with CCD Lab’s Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at
f10, on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The OIII and H alpha subframes were 20 minutes, while the RGB
subframes were 10 minutes. All were binned 1x1 resulting in the following total exposures L:R:G:B =
(Ha):(R+Ha):(G+OIII):(B+OIII) min = (360): (110+360): (110+160):(110+160). Captured with Nebulosity,
calibrated, sigma combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS.
