Hickson 61 (NGC 4169/4173/4174/4175)

Hickson 61, compact galaxy group in Coma Bernices. NGC 4173 spiral galaxy type Scd, is the large
galaxy in the upper right of the box, NGC 4169 galaxy type S0, is right of center, NGC 4174 galaxy type
S0-a , is at the lower left center and NGC 4175 galaxy type Sbc, is left of center. Taken April 26, 29, 30,
May 3 and May 5. Imaged with CCD Lab’s Q285M and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at f10, on a
Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The L subframes were 10 minutes binned 1x1, while the RGB subframes
were 4 minutes binned 2x2 resulting in the following total exposures L:R:G:B (min) = 400:60:60:60.
Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE
and Photoshop CS. North is up.
