NGC 4438 spiral galaxy type S0-a and NGC 4435 spiral galaxy type SB0 in Virgo. These two galaxies
are also known as “The Eyes” and and cataloged as Arp 120. Taken Mar. 30, Apr. 03, 10, & Apr. 11 2008
in poor transparency with a DSI Pro II and Outback Cooler, on a C8NGT (8" Newtonian f5) and an ASGT
mount. LRGB subframes were 3 minutes resulting in the following total exposures L:R:G:B (min) =
240:75:75:72. Color balance was achieved via numerically scaled channels. Captured with Envisage,
calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using FITZ, PixInsight LE and
Photoshop CS. North is up.
