UGC 849 & PGC 4748 (Arp 119)
PGC 4728 (Arp 088)

MCG +02-04-021 (UGC 00849, type SBc) and MCG +02-04-022 (PGC 004748, type E?) are the pair of
galaxies near the center and form Arp 119. Arp 119 is in the class of E and E-like Galaxies Close
to and Perturbing Spirals” in the Arp Atlas. PGC 004728 at right center is Arp 88 and is in the
class of “Spirals with Large HSB Companions on Arms”. It looks like a small version of M51. The
galaxy below Arp 119 is MRK 0983 (type Pec). Taken Nov. 4, 5, 6 and Nov. 10, 2012. Imaged with CCD
Lab’s Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at f10, on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The L
subframes were 12 minutes binned 1x1, while the RGB subframes were 4 minutes binned 2x2 resulting in
the following total exposures L:R:G:B (min) = 408:72:72:72. Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated and
sigma combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
