Sharpless 27 (Sh2-27) HII emission nebula with several Lynds dark nebulae in Ophiuchus. Taken June
20 and 21, 2007 with a DSI Pro II and Outback Cooler with a Pentax SMC-M 28mm lens at f2.8 on an
ASGT mount. RGB subframes were 90 sec while the H-alpha subframes were 300 sec. resulting in the
following total exposures Ha:Ha+R:G:B (min) = 125:125+53:47:48. Color balance was achieved via
numerically scaled channels. Captured with Envisage, calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with
other processing using FITZ, PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
