If the parts are available from Fender you can no doubt get them through Smart Parts (www.partssmart.com). I don't know about the pricing, check the Fender website or ask around on the FDP, a lot of the Fender DSM's frequent there (www.fenderforum.com)

I own a Sting bass similar to the '54 re-issues shown on this page. I've wanted to order the pickup/bridge covers and the single-hole thumb rest as shown on these two basses, but have had no luck getting Fender to respond. Do you know if they are planning to issue these parts as spares soon, especially since they are apparently continuing to use the hardware on guitars other than the limited run of 50th anniversary '51 P-basses?
Also, do you know what kind of price these '54 P-bass reissues are bringing?
