I thought I would be excited to see kittens in because we hadn't seen any at the shelter in awhile, but seeing these little guys reminded me just how hard our summer season was last year. These guys arrived sick. They are only about 5 weeks old and were born under a trailer in a feral cat colony. They'll get better with some TLC!

This is my first post in months although I've taken tons of photos. I was asked back in December to take on the role of shelter manager and even though I didn't want to at first I'm glad I've taken it on. It's certainly been the most challenging jobs I've had for a variety of reasons....
