Beautiful pictures. Just had one of these guys and a Rosette Spoonbill wandering around together in the slew
across the street from our house and I couldn't figure out what this one was because of the teradactil look
to the head (looks kind of like a vulture with a long beak!)

Driving thru California to Las Vegas this morning we saw a flock of 12 huge birds - about a 6ft wing span. They were about 100 ft in the air over Lake Delores - an old closed down water park that has a good sized lake. The closest bird I found is this Woodstock, at first it looked to me like a thunderbird type of wing. Snowywhite like an egret with the black edge. Would like to be able to identify them. Any ideas?
