At first glance, you may wonder what this photo has to do with my sister. (And this is a terrible photo technically, but I still wanted to post it.) Well, it brought back some real memories when I observed this last night at Vacation Bible School at our church. My sis is 9 years older than me and always did all sorts of fun things for me when I was little. One of them was this "flip" thing, that we always called "skin the cat." If I recall, she really had to talk me into it at first, but then I thought it was the coolest thing ever, and I have no idea how my arms stayed in their sockets! :)



From "skin the cats" and talking teddy bears (whose voice I can still recall), to Boggle tourney's and trips out west... There will never be another sister to live up to the high standards set by Mern, my big sis. I am very grateful for my sister.
