In these shots with the lighter colored sweater on the darker background, the softboxes (which I think I see in the catchlights in her eyes) are great to create a soft lighting effect. Because the camera can't exactly spot meter (10D just doesn't have that feature) you're left with the sweater appearing pretty light. Its not overwhelming in any of these 3 photos but it does keep Kim's face from being as prominent as it could be. If your group has a honeycomb/grid then next time you might want to try a similar setup but replace the softbox/brolly on your left with a 10 or 20 degree grid to get a tighter, brighter beam of light on her face to counteract how much light the sweater reflects. This isn't meant as a criticism; you did a great job for your first time with strobes. This is just a "hey you might wanna try something a little different for a different effect next time" kinda comment.
