Brunella and her son Daniele led us on a 30 mile bike ride,
which started at Jesolo and took us onto a spit of land in the Venetian lagoon and its great marsh.
We followed the Sile river, proceeded to Cavallino, then to Treporti, and after exploring
the side roads around Treporti, came back to Jesolo and a well-deserved beer.
