Going Up The Country

Chicot State Park, near Ville Platte, LA

With Hurricane Ivan taking dead aim on the mouth of the Mississippi River, the decision was made to get out of town. One day at Chicot State Park and three days at Caddo Lake State Park made the evacuation a pleasant one.
