.........of rain thus far this month. Seattle set a new record in November and December of last year with 22.93 inches of rain for the two months. I will need to purchase an underwater housing for my D80 in order to take photos outside ;-)))

Lovely colors. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. And you've proved it with this photo. Just beautiful. Btw, I've taken my camera out in pouring rain with no ill effects but I don't advise it. :)

Nice photo James. You and Katie might wash away if this keeps up. I'll bet the rain forests on the Olympic Peninsula will be amazing in spring this year.

Underwater housing for the Nikon is not a bad idea. Particularly in the Pacific Northwest. That would open up a range of photo opportunities that are closed to you now.
