Cádiz. Parque Genovés

The Genovés Park was declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the Regional Government of Andalusia and is included in the General Catalogue of Historical Heritage of Andalusia. It retains its 19th-century Romantic-style botanical garden appearance.
From the main entrance, in Plaza Rocío Jurado, there is direct access to a wide central avenue, divided into three streets by a double row of symmetrical flowerbeds, where the emblematic image of the oyster stone fountains stands out, flanked by English-style cypress trees and date palms that together make up the Central Promenade of the Park, with an image of great beauty.
The rest of Genovés Park is characterized by its asymmetry, evident both in the diverse shapes of its flowerbeds and the irregular layout of its paths. It boasts over 150 different species of trees, palms, and shrubs, most of them exotic, originating from other continents, which have adapted to life in Cádiz thanks to the city's exceptional microclimate.

Those trees are so extraordinary, not the palms, the others. They look improbable! What a fabulous shot. V
