Geometric shapes
In the final phase of his career, Gaudí
opted to design and build with a combination of geometric shapes. He did so
on the pinnacles for the Nativity façade and in the project for the vaults inside
the Temple and other parts, using and combining curved ruled surfaces. This
way, he created a life-like overall character and expression, in line with his architecture.
