Queen Astrid Square
This large square is where the Main train Station is located.
In the past, this was a square with allure where train passengers, visitors to the zoo and the party halls walked by. In the middle of the square, a French-style garden was laid out. In 1935, the original name Statieplein was changed to Koningin Astridplein, in honor of the recently deceased Queen Astrid
