Old Agustinian Convent
Initially there was a chapel, built in 1507 on the promontory of Sa Punta and dedicated to Our Lady of Gràcia. After the sacking of the Turks in 1543, the Augustinian convent was founded (1568) and the church, restored a few years earlier, was adapted as the chapel of the convent. In 1577 the cloister was completed.The convent enjoyed great prosperity during the 17th century, until it was destroyed during the siege by French troops in 1695. Many years later, between 1772 and 1791, it was rebuilt on the site of the hospital of the poor With confiscation it passed into municipal hands.
