Ermita de Sant Pau
It corresponds to the church of the old monastery of Sant Pol de Mar, perched on a hill near the coast. It must have been founded around the 10th century, in fact the oldest documentation dates from 955. We know that a century later it was in a dilapidated state, but later it became a Benedictine priory of monks depending on Lerins (Provence) and its location. improved. In the middle of the 13th century it was sold to Guillem de Montgrķ, who ceded it to the Carthusian monastery of Escaladei, and its patrimony increased considerably, until in 1434 it was sold to the Viscount of Cabrera and used as a fortification. It is currently a small hermitage dependent on the parish of Sant Pol.
