Auditorium
The tour continues with the Auditorium, an exact replica of the impressive original horseshoe-shaped concert hall that was designed by the architect Miquel Garriga i Roca in 1847. With 2,300 seats, it is the venue for the permanent season which offers opera, concerts, recitals and dance.The zenithal chandelier of the Auditorium, designed in the shape of an inverted half-dome, strengthens the sound of the central area. Moreover, the fact that its outer ring can be opened makes it possible to place spotlights, television cameras or other equipment there.
