Morella is a city surrounded by 1562 metres of walls marked by towers (Beneito, Alós, Vella, de la Font, Redona, San Miguel, del Trinquet, de la Nevera, del Públic, S.Francisco, del Rey, de la Pólvora o Carraixet, del Forcall and de Fredes). These towers were built during de 14 th and 15th centuries and they were improved during the centuries 17th and 18th. We can come into the city through the gates of San Mateo, and San Miguel (14th century) , El Rey , Ferrisa, Forcall, de la Nevera and 'Els Estudis'.
