Antoni Gaudí devises the stables in a functional way, covered by a series or parabolic arches that support Catalan vaults positioned perpendiculary.On both sides of each vault, some ingenious trapezoidal openings provide light and ventilation to the room. The wal of the entire building has a mortar base of Garraf stone. All the doors in the arrangement are formed by means of parabolic archways thar are made from brick.To provide natural light to the stables Gaudí devised trapezoidal windows sat in the wall between the arches.
