Designed by Antoni Gaudí i Cornet and built between 1901 and 1902.
This gate is an example of Art Nouveau (Modernisme) fantasy. Gaudí was commissioned by the owner of that property to design a big wall with a main gate and 36 sections.
The shape of fence is undulated with the base build in stone covered by ceramic white small pieces on the top. The roof in slate is crowned by a Gaudí typical cross of four arms in forged iron.
Recently the door was completed with a Gaudí bronze statue.
