The St. Lorenz Cathedral was built 1250-1477. With it's two 80 meter high towers it is one of the most impressive landmarks of Nuremberg.
The doorways's sculptures depict the theme of redemption, from Adam and Eve through the Last Judgment. St Lorenz Kirche has a fine interior with many sculptures.

I was based in Nurnberg in 1953 and took many photos and 35mm slides..I have one or two of St. Lorenz and also the Marketplatz...never returned much to my regret..Met many forner german soldiers while there..If you don't wish me to use any of your pictures, I will refrain from doing so, although they are quite beautiful...Thank you
