The Giants' grave of S'Ena'e Thomes is a Nuragic-era archeological site located in the municipality of Dorgali (province of Nuoro, Sardinia).
It is one of the most impressive and best preserved monuments of the prehistoric age.
The tomb, dating back to the Bronze Age, between 1800-1600 BC, has a dolmen structure with a huge central stele over 7 tons of granite.
The large exedra is composed of slabs stuck into the ground, forming a semicircular space, with a monolithic decorated slab in the centre (3,65 m high).
The funeral corridor, where the dead were buried, is about 11 m long and covered with large stone slabs arranged in a jack arch.
The Giants' graves were the collective tombs and can be found throughout Sardinia, with 800 being discovered by now.
