This Greek-Catholic church (tserkov) was built in 1895-1922 when the village was inhabited by Lemkos, the sub-Ukrainian ethnic group.
Since 1950 it's been serving as a Roman Catholic church.
The original iconostasis of 1927 with the icons painted on canvas instead of wooden board, as it should be in accordance with tradition.
The polychromy paintings were made in 1919.
