Camp 2 Base Goosfand Sara is a mountain camping site located at altitude 3040 m. It is the summer starting point for trekking to Mt Damavand summit.
There is a small mountain shelter or refuge (seen on the left), a mosque called Saheb Zaman (or Saheb al Zaman) where we slept over two nights, and a sheepfold.

In summer and climbing season, strong cars like 4WD Jeeps and land rovers transfer climbers and their equipments to this campsite.
Our grop though, used legs to reach this point :) and it was good for starting the acclimatization process.
In Camp 2 you can also find mules and porters to carry your heavy equipment to the last campsite at Camp 3 Bargah Sevom.
