The one-storey Piarist Academic Grammar School was constructed between 1773-1778. Built by Empress Marie Therese.
There are two memorial tablets on it: one of them commemorates János Batsányi, the unsettled Hungarian poet, who learned here in the Piarist Secondary Grammar School, the other commemorates the teacher, Árpád Brusznyai, the martyr of the revolution and war of independence of 1956.
Today it is the Secondary Technical School for Economics.
