The Holy Trinity Statue (Szentharomsag Szobor) was erected by Bishop Márton Padányi Bíró in 1750. It was sculptured by Ferenc Simon (Ferenc Schmidt) and master stonemason Tamás Walch.
At the top of my photo you can see the stone-carved coat of arms of the Bishop, with the date of 1750 surfacing from the following chronogram:
"STRVEBATVR PRO GLORIA CVLTVQVE DIVINO AEVITERNO VNI ET TRINO A BIRO ANTISTITE MARTINO" - "Erected for the glory and the respect, for the Holy and Eternal One and Three, by Bishop Márton Bíró".
Down on the pedestal, the patron saint of the Bishop, Saint Martin's figure in relief can be seen, in the scene of the sharing of the cloak.
