The Centennial Hall

Wroclaw, Poland

The Centennial Hall, also called People's Hall (Hala Ludowa), is a historic building in Wroclaw, constructed according to the plans of architect Max Berg in 1911–1913, when the city was part of the German Empire.
The Hall occupies 295,000 cubic metres and stands a towering 42 metres high, including a 23 metre dome.
As an early landmark of reinforced concrete architecture, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.
There is a 96 metre high steel spire erected in front of the Centennial Hall in 1948 to commemorate the "Restored Lands Exhibition"
