Situated on the hill over the village, the votive (thankful) stone cross dating from 1871.
The symbols under Jesus figure are skull and bones.
Skull is a symbol of Golgotha, which means "place of the skull", the supposed location of Jesus' crucifixion.
The crossed bones are also symbolic of the Crucifixion, referring to the cross on which Jesus Christ died.
