Already for 11 years the Schuman's Parade takes place in Warsaw to commemorate Robert Schuman's proposals for an organised Europe.
The Schuman declaration of 9 May 1950 is considered to be the beginning of the creation of what is now the European Union.

Poland is a member of European Union since May 1st 2004.
