The Holy Trinity Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession (Lutheran), also known as Zug's Protestant Church.
This is one of two Augsburg Evangelic churches in Warsaw. Designed and constructed by Szymon Bogumil Zug, 1777-1782, as a Classical rotunda based partly on the Roman Pantheon. It was the highest and one of the biggest buildings of 18th century Warsaw.
Now it is one of the largest churches in Warsaw and one of the most notable for its design. The huge dome with magnificent lantern tower dominates high over the nearby buildings.
The church has a very good acoustic and splendid organ, that is why it is a place where the Warsaw Chamber Opera (Warszawska Opera Kameralna) regularly gives concerts of classical music.
